Dog Listening is a non aggressive, kind, and dog friendly training method. You will learn the language of your dog which will change the way in which you communicate and live with your dog and provide you with a trusting and stress free relationship.

Unlike some traditional training methods we do not use training gadgets, aggression or dominance to solve your dog’s problems. Given the fact that dogs are pack animals we provide you with the knowledge with which you can communicate with your dog in his or her own language. Your dog will be happy to work with you, not to mention not have any stress, which results in many behaviour problems disappearing. Using this method of communication sets a very strong foundation for further training if you wish to pursue this avenue, due to the strong bond you and your dog will have.

Many people have forgotten that dogs are not people and expect them to understand what is required of them but they are not human and do not speak our language. We have brought dogs into our lives, therefore it is up to us to communicate with them in a way they can understand and trust me, you will never look back. Dogs do not think like we do and don’t plot against us or cook up ways of getting at us, they really only aim to please but need our communication with them to be clear in order for them to have a fair chance of doing the right thing by us and themselves.

Your dog needs you to be the leader of the family pack as he or she does not have the skills required to take on this role in our world. We will teach you how to prove to your dog that you are capable of taking on the leadership role, leaving your dog free to relax and lead a happy, stress free life with you and your family.

Dog Listening was developed by the U.K.'s Jan Fennell and there are over 200 Dog Listeners worldwide who are all absolutely dedicated to helping as many dogs and their family packs as possible.
